- Nasir Ansari was caught red-handed withdrawing cash from the ATM and had cards of random people. Cash of ₹ 1,00,000/- was seized from him, during which the other accused sitting in the car managed to flee away. He was later arrested.
- Nasir and the other accused withdrew the amount for Sumer Shaikh who had absconded.
Opinion of the Bench
- It is found that apart from the applicant’s involvement in this crime, there is a possibility of his involvement in similar other offences. If the applicant is released on bail, the possibility of tampering with the investigation and witnesses cannot be ruled out.

- The bail application is rejected.
